Fire Pit Benches - Build new benches so that 75 can sit around the camp fire as one group... yes a challenge! Chapel Lighting - Improve Chapel lighting and with new fixtures. Covered Shelter - This was started last year. The material was purchased but the weather did not cooperate so we have stored all the lumber in the larger tabernacle waiting for construction this year! Remote Washrooms - Establish washrooms for the tent and outdoor education program area. This was also started last year and once again completion was held up by the weather. We did manage to get the septic tank installed. Two Tents - Another two tents to complete our the 8 tents goal for the outdoor education program area. Playing Field - The drainage will be analyzed and we hope to find an economical way to improve it. Prayer Trail - establish a prayer trail through our woods. Kitchen Sewage - Increase the ability to accommodate more usage. Fresh Water Lines - locate and reinstall all the water lines to a depth that will allow us to have running water during the winter. WInterize 2 Cabins - This will allow more people to utilize the camp during the winter. Washroom Tiling - The washrooms will be tiled which will help getting and keeping them clean.
Low Ropes Course - Build a challenging safe and fun ropes course as a new activity and located in the woods around the outdoor education program area. Winterize 2 Cabins - This will allow more people to utilize the camp during the winter. Winterize the Washrooms - This will further facilitate the extended use of the camp during the winter. Upgrade Sewage System - This will allow greater use of the camp by more people and during the winter.
Arts Program - Establish an arts program complete with meeting space and equipment to build on and improve the existing crafts activity that we already do. The arts program will may include but not limited to music, drama, photography or possibly pottery. Climbing Wall - Build a climbing wall as part of the outdoor education program area. Main Dining Room Upgrades - This will include replacement of the windows, porch entrance, repair/upgrade of fireplace and the furnishing and decoration of the interior
Hire Architect - The property plan will be finalized and the blueprints of the group housing will be completed.
