Are you stressed, worried, anxious, fearful of what is next? The next conversation, the next news report, the next time you are alone or with others, or with a certain person! You know we humans always seem to conjure up reasons why to be stressed, particularly when we are dealing with other people. I can be an optimist and have confidence that is thoroughly rooted in truth because of my relationship with God. This is what Paul was reminding his younger friend Timothy. 

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love, and self-discipline.

2 Timothy 1:7

Regardless of the circumstances of your life, remember that as a follower of Christ has God’s Spirit is in you and is for you. 

Prayer Requests. 

1. Our first week of campers at our campground was this weekend. Apart from a few bumps that come with learning to do something new, everything went well. Continue to pray for more bookings and as we need income. 
2. Summer Camps are filling up, and we are excited about what God will do this summer. Pray that campers will enjoy a stress-free week of play and that they will grow a relationship with Jesus Christ. 
3. Finally, we are coming up to a financial crunch. I will be inviting others to join me in supporting the work here at Covenant Bay. Pray that people will respond well to this invitation and that God will provide all we need as we need it. 

Don’t forget to join us this Saturday, June 26, at 2 pm for a worship service where we will celebrate what God will do this summer and commission our summer staff for the work ahead! Remember, there is no ministry apart from Christ; pray with urgency and expectation. I will chat with you next week.
