Lead the charge in spiritual creativity this summer! As the Paid Chapel Coordinator, you’ll be the visionary behind our daily worship experiences. This is a chance to merge your passion for worship, technology, and ministry by overseeing everything from dynamic music and skits to speaker coordination and managing all A/V and lighting. You will mentor a Chapel Team, delegate creative tasks, and ensure every chapel moment fosters a powerful atmosphere for spiritual growth. Duties & Responsibilities

Planning

To plan the chapel services, you will do the following

  • Contact Speakers 3-4 weeks in advance to brainstorm together.
  • Create an outline plan for each camp session and service.
  • Plan creative elements such as skits, music, and other art forms.
  • Ensure all audio, visual and lighting equipment is in working order.
  • Ensure all slides, videos, etc, are prepared for chapel sessions.
  • Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to schedule the Chapel Team.
    • Create a list of duties.
    • Create a schedule of duties.
  • Prepare A&V recording tech
  • Meet with the Staff Pastor for assistance and mentoring.
  • Clean and prepare the chapel space
  • Plan and prepare an atmosphere
  • Evaluate and Prepare Improvements

Qualifications
  • Completion or working towards a degree in a related subject
  • Knowledge and skills in worship, public speaking, theatre arts and camping ministry
  • Proficiency in the use of computers
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field
Working Conditions
  • The Chapel Coordinator will be on site for all assigned programming.
  • Room and board will be provided once available.
Training

The Chapel Coordinator will receive 4 days of staff training. This training will include facility orientation, policy and procedure training, camper check-in and registration, team-building activities and compensation review. We will also highlight workplace health and safety practices.
