Theme: One God

Take a look around. Our world is loud right now, pulling us in a hundred directions, offering a hundred things to chase after, believe in, and build our identity on. It’s easy to lose track of who — or what — you’re actually living for.

But here’s the truth: there is One God, and He is calling you by name.

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” — Deuteronomy 6:4-5

This Senior High Retreat, we’re stripping away the noise and getting back to what’s real. Who is God, really? What does it mean to live like He’s the center of everything, not just one more thing competing for your attention? You’ll wrestle with big questions, make friendships that go deeper than a group chat, and find space to actually hear from God in the middle of the lake, the bonfires, and the late-night conversations that change everything.

Speaker

Melissa Blackwood

Melissa is a youth pastor, worship leader, and dedicated stay-at-home mother, serving as a neighbour and a leader in women's ministry. While her family and friends are central to her life, Melissa has a deep passion for the next generation. One of Melissa's greatest desires is to see young people thrive in a relationship with Jesus. She hopes the youth this weekend will commit their lives to Jesus and get fired up about the purpose He has called them into.
