Elevate: Training

A prerequisite for all who wish to participate in the Elevate program.

Squirt Camp: July 5 - July 7, 2026 - $30-$60/week depending on the length of the Session
Are you a teenager, 14-17, looking to grow in your spiritual life and learn practical leadership skills alongside like-minded peers? The Summer 2026 Elevate program is designed just for you – a leadership training experience that guides you into a deeper understanding of who God is and how you can be a great leader and friend.
This program will
- connect with mentors who will answer questions and guide you through your faith journey,
- push you to grow in your gifts and talents while challenging you in new ways,
- and surround you with godly leaders and friends who want to see you transformed into a follower of Christ who is confident in your identity.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn, lead, grow, and transform through this program while you attend devotionals, assist cabin leaders and activity leaders, learn a strong work ethic and get to experience all the fun of camp while doing so. You’ll even have time set aside to get to know your fellow students and have fun experiences with your group of Elevates each week as well!
This program runs alongside all of our regular camp weeks except senior high camp. You have the option to join one or more weeks, depending on availability. You’ll have leaders who guide and care for you each day to support you in your responsibilities in the dining hall, with the cabins, and during the different activities that happen each day, all the while getting to connect with other students who want to grow in the same ways and truly enjoy your time here at Covenant Bay.
Cost: The cost is $30-$60 per week, depending on the length of the session, as some weeks are shorter than others.
Elevate Training Week
In lieu of an Elevate intensive week this summer, Elevators will join the staff during training week to learn about their role when they come to serve, build connections with the entire Elevate team for the summer and get to know the staff. Here’s what you can expect for this week!
Training for your role
You will receive all the information you’ll need to know in terms of what your responsibilities will look like, how to best care for the kids you’ll be helping take care of, what types of activities to expect and how you will be involved, the cleaning duties you will have, and other wisdom on serving at camp!
Team Building
You will get to meet the rest of the elevates who are coming for the summer- both those who will be serving alongside you during your sessions and those in the other sessions! You will get a chance to intentionally get to know each other, grow in relationships through conversations and games, and become one unified front for the summer.
Meeting the Staff
You will also have intentional time this week to meet and get to know the staff that you will be working under for the summer. We want you to be comfortable and confident with everyone here, so we will be having conversations and events that will integrate the staff team and Elevate team during this week as well.
Learning about God
You will also get a taste this week of what it will look like to be serving the Lord this summer, and how we get to step into what He is already doing. This week will be an introduction to how we will grow together in a personal relationship with Jesus and fellowship as a community of believers!
Manditory
Teens who wish to be part of the Elevate program must attend the Elevate Training Week during staff training week. If students are unavailable that week, they may request an exception, which may or may not be granted.
